NO MORE KILLOUGH/KELLOUGH FAMILY BOOKS FOR SALE

All five hundred books published in 1997 have been sold or given to libraries all over the United States.  Future generations will enjoy learning so much about their family history.

The project of making CD's out of it and added genealogy has been unable to be brought to a conclusion.  It is my fault that I have been unable to cooperate in this project.  Others will have to take this over now.  Contact Jason Brent Killough at
jasonkillough@cox.net if you can help him with this project
-  5/5/05 Update -  I've received this news from Jason: "I must apologize on my long absence from being able to be contacted.  I am forward deployed to the Middle East...  please forgive my absence and inability to contact the family"... (for more or what Jason wrote click here).

Since keeping records on Killough descendants has been a major project of our organization, you may continue to send your genealogy records to those listed on the
Announcements page.  I'll (Zora) answer questions as much as I can, although I am sorry that I am way behind on doing that right now.

Ken Kalloch (email: kdk44@juno.com), of Concord, NH has volunteered to help enter all the information from this book into a genealogy program so that a Gedcom file and online database can be created.  As of June 4th 2005, he is almost done Chapter 7.  When this project is completed, he plans to put the entire Gedcom file on CD-ROM disks for the Killough historians.  He also hopes to be able to generate a new updated edition of the book, perhaps in Adobe .pdf format which will be put on CD-ROM, and also here on the website in a format that can be read online.

This database is online at:
 Killough Family Database

(Updated 7/4/05 - 21,911 Individuals)

Note from Webmaster: I removed the text files for the above Killough Book because they contained "vital information" for living relatives.  This information is still being recorded by our historians, however with the internet the way that it is (identity theft, etc.), I do not consider it appropriate to post "vital information" for our living relatives on the internet.  All vital information in the online database is blocked for 100 years or until the individual is known to have deceased.  For more information about genealogy privacy issues, please click the "Practice Safe Genealogy!" logo below.

If you have genealogical information that you would like to add for your family, please go to the "Changing of the Guard" section of our Announcements page for the addresses of our Historian and Assistant Historians.

Killough / Kellough Family History pdf

I made a pdf book of the entire Killough / Kellough Family History, which is all the information from the above mentioned book, with corrections and additions, as of 8/8/13.  Note, vital information for living individuals has been removed, only names are displayed. (You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this file).  Please notify Ken Kalloch of any errors or missing information.
